Theme: One World
“Only small men discriminate saying: One is a relative; the other is a stranger. For those who live magnanimously the entire world constitutes but a family. — Vedic scripture Maha Upanishad (Chapter 6, Verse 72)”
“One World” is rendition of the Sanskrit phrase, “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” which literally translates to world being one big family. It is based on a Sanskrit prayer,” Lok samasta sukhino Bhavantra” meaning,” Let the entire world be happy”.
It holds more relevance in the world today, than it ever did before. With human values deteriorating every day causing decline in the quality of life. It is essential to understand that the world today is of the people, by the people and for the people. We are a cosmic organization. It is only if, we work together and convert this vision into action can peace be established and harmonious relationship between communities, groups and thereby between nations will be developed.
And so, by combining the philosophies of East and West, of inclusivity and progress, we can create a new world order of global citizenship wherein we respect and celebrate, cultures and diversity.
That is what TEDxFMS 2018 is all about - establishing universal peace through continuous dialogue and mutual sharing of experiences and promoting the concept of One World !
